We believe in transparency and showcasing the efforts made for animal welfare. We provide communication tools to inform the public and stakeholders about the actions taken. A dedicated website, summary sheets and educational workshops are ways to share our commitment and raise awareness about the importance of animal welfare.
- Dedicated Website We have developed a dedicated website, ebea.info, which centralizes all information about our `Animal Welfare Commitment`(EBEA) approach. This website presents the elements of our program, ongoing actions, and the results achieved. It allows visitors to understand the issues of animal welfare and discover the initiatives implemented by zoos.
- Provision of Communication Tools We provide graphic elements and content to highlight the commitment of parks and teams through printed materials, web platforms and social media. These tools are designed to showcase the efforts and results, helping to build public trust and promote animal welfare initiatives.
- Educational Workshops We also offer thematic educational workshops on animal welfare monitoring. These workshops allow visitors to step into the role of an evaluator and learn about the methods used to assess animal welfare. Participants use the professional mobile application to carry out mock assessments, guided by a educational facilitator. These workshops are tailored to different levels and help raise public awareness of the importance about animal welfare.
